Nativity Scene Paper Ornament with Quilled Details and Recycled Material

Add Handcrafted Detail To Your Tree With This Quilled Nativity Ornament

You hang another plain ornament and the tree still looks flat and boring. Every decoration blends together, and nothing stands out or sparks conversation when guests walk by. This ornament helps you create a focal point on your tree, display it on a wreath, or hang it in a window where the intricate paper coils catch the light and draw attention during holiday gatherings.

This ornament shows the stable scene with three figures under a star, all shaped from thin strips of recycled paper. Artisans roll and shape each strip by hand, then glue the coils into place to form the figures, stable structure, and star. The finished piece hangs from a string loop attached at the top.

It measures roughly three inches across and uses recycled paper throughout the entire design. The quilling technique creates raised, textured shapes that cast small shadows and add depth. The natural paper tones range from cream to light brown, giving the ornament a warm, earthy look that works with most tree color schemes.

The stable roof angles down over the figures and the star sits above the scene. Each coil stays secure with adhesive, and the paper holds its shape year after year when stored carefully. The ornament weighs almost nothing and hangs from branches without pulling them down or requiring heavy hooks.
