- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 burger buns
- 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce

- Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over high heat. Drizzle with Greek olive oil.
- Place beef balls on hot surface and immediately smash flat with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
- Flip burgers and top with crumbled feta cheese. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Toast burger buns on the griddle until golden.
- Spread tzatziki sauce on bottom bun, add arugula, place burger patty, then top with tomato, red onion, and more tzatziki.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Greek-inspired smash burger!
Notes
For best results, use high-quality Greek extra virgin olive oil. The key to a perfect smash burger is a very hot cooking surface and pressing the patty thin for maximum crust.
